D.I.T.C. "Many people make records, but few can make music" - 100-minute videointerview!

Our incredibly long videointerview with the legendary Diggin In The Crates crew is something that I'm really proud of. I've had an opportunity to talk with DJ Premier, Xzibit, Masta Ace or Devin The Dude before but this is really the biggest thing. Being able to talk for 100 minutes with your favourite rap group and ask them about nearly everything? Priceless.

People in Poland enjoyed this interview very much and I haven't seen something like this before, so I think that it should be interesting for D.I.T.C. fans all over the world. That's the reason why I posted additional info in english, including full video. Hope you'll like it!

PS. If you have problems with viewing the video please write at admin@popkiller.pl. Here I tried to quickly summarise each part of this interview:

Part 1:
- Expectations about the show in Poland
- Thoughts about today's New York rap and its crisis
- Their biggest musical achievement
- Differences between being number 1 and 2
- Why DJ's nowadays can't do what they want to? Why does radio hypnotize people?
- Who makes records and who makes music?

Part 2:

- Why is it impossible to release "Real Legends Never Die" - Big L's third solo - including Finesse's or Premier's work? Why doesn't Ness want to feel like a pimp?
- Why can't art survive without money?
- Why do MC's who give their music for free don't appreciate their own work?
- A.G. compares today's internet underground to selling demos out of the trunk back when he was starting his career.
- Diamond speaks about his duo album with Pete Rock. When shall we expect it and what will be released before it?

Part 3:

- How does it look with O.C.'s next solo album?
- Why doesn't he like "Starchild" and why wasn't this CD released in the USA?
- Which one of his albums does he like most?
- A.G. talks about his first impressions after hearing "Next Level" beat in "8 Mile" movie.
- Finesse explains the meaning of freestyle and why it's so important for a young MC.
- Diamond says whether he feels more like an MC or a producer.

Part 4:

- What made Finesse want to start producing?
- Diamond talks about his relations with Fat Joe nowadays. Is he still affiliated with D.I.T.C.?
- A.G. recalls working with Madlib and J. Dilla. Is Madlib really as crazy as people think he is?
- Why was "Everything's Berri" released without any promotion? Was it his intention to give it to fans in a form of a surprise or maybe there was not enough time?
- O.C. and A.G. talk about collaborating with Marco Polo. Why did they do it for free?

Part 5:

- Finesse speaks about his first impressions after hearing Big L rhyming. Did he expect that L would be such a dope MC?
- He talks about the distance he had to cover in order to pick Big L from school and then hang with him for the rest of the day.
- A.G.'s first impressions after hearing "Ebonics".
- Why was L so special? The private side of a legendary MC - comedian, instigator.
- Is keeping it true and sincere still important? "RickRossGate"

Part 6:

- Do they remember some conflicts in D.I.T.C., similar to those in Terror Squad or G-Unit?
- Their relations with Fat Joe now.
- Why should you be careful when saying something about Joe, Diamond or Finesse?
- Does O.C. still hang out with Organized Konfusion?
- Did he help Statik Selektah's talent explode by inviting him on "Starchild"?
- Why did Diamond decide to rap over other people's beats on "Huge Hefner Chronicles"?

Part 7:

- They said that rap today is worse than it was 10 years ago. But do they have some favorites among young cats?
- Who inspires them?
- What's most important thing in rap?
- Why does rap game need MC's like Kid Cudi or Soulja Boy?
- Why shouldn't you get Joe Budden mad?
- And finally - why were we [Popkiller.pl] lucky?
